Overview
Warradarge Wind Farm is located approximately 260 km north of Perth and comprises two stages. Stage 1, which is fully operational, has an installed capacity of 180 MW and consists of 51 wind turbines. Stage 2, currently in the final stages of construction, will add a further 30 wind turbines to the site and is expected to be completed in 2027.
The Warradarge Wind Farm is owned by Bright Energy Investments, a joint venture between Potentia Energy and the Western Australian State government through Synergy. See details of the project and Bright Energy Investments here.

Construction Completion for Warrardarge Stage 1
Construction of the 180MW Warradarge Wind Farm was completed toward the end of 2020.
2024
Stage 2 project approval received
The expansion will contribute an additional 30 wind turbine generators (WTGs) to the wind farm which will increase the capacity to 283MW, making it the biggest wind farm in the South West Interconnected System (SWIS).
