Overview
The 34 MW Cohuna Solar Farm is located approximately 8 km south of Cohuna in Victoria. The Solar Farm comprises of approximately 86,000 photovoltaic (PV) modules and related civil and electrical infrastructure. The Solar Farm produces approximately 77 GWh, powering over 16,000 Victorian homes each year.

Project Approvals
The relevant Development Approvals for the Cohuna Solar Farm have been obtained from the Gannawarra Shire Council in 2017. The Approvals set out conditions that must be complied with in undertaking the development. The conditions cover construction, operation, decommissioning, and administrative matters.

Victorian Renewable Energy Target
The Cohuna Solar Farm was awarded, through a competitive tender process, a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement (VRET Support Agreement) with the Victorian Government for all energy and Large-Scale Generation Certificates of (LGCs). In this way, the Cohuna Solar Farm is directly supporting the Victorian Government to achieve its decarbonisation objectives and the legislated renewable energy targets for the state.
