The Potentia Energy team were pleased to partner with the Blue Tree Project to host a Mental Health Awareness Event in Tambellup, Western Australia. Tambellup is located within the Broomehill-Tambellup Shire in Western Australia, approx. 30 km East of Potentia Energy’s Flat Rocks Wind Farm Stage 1.

About Blue Tree Project

The Blue Tree Project is a charity focused on fostering important conversations around mental health and encouraging individuals to speak up when facing mental health challenges. As part of their efforts, the organisation invites people to paint a tree blue to spark conversations and raise awareness, with the goal to help build a mentally healthy future.

Blue Tree Project was founded in regional WA, and is now operating across Australia, with blue trees, representing the symbol of the organisation’s impact among communities, now scattered across every continent.

Living in rural areas can present challenges, and impact mental health due to the isolation experienced.

By openly talking about mental health, Blue Tree Project aims to reduce stigma and shift outdated attitudes in regional communities, creating safer spaces where people can seek help, free from judgement.

About the event

The event aimed to raise awareness, offer support, and equip the community with resources and training options to address mental health concerns.

The event proved to be a success, with community members coming together to enjoy a meal before attending a mental health presentation led by the Blue Tree Project.

Potentia Energy is proud to have partnered with the Blue Tree Project to help facilitate future conversations and help foster stronger, healthier communities in the regions where we operate.
