All 30 Wind Turbines Erected for Warradarge Wind Farm Stage 2

Bright Energy Investments (BEI) has reached a major milestone at Warradarge Wind Farm
Stage 2, with all 30 wind turbines erected at the site near Eneabba.

The completion of the turbine installations marks a significant step towards the expanded wind
farm becoming operational later this year.

BEI Executive General Manager Tom Frood said the milestone reflected the hard work and
commitment of the construction team, contractors and project partners.

“Warradarge Wind Farm is already recognised as one of Australia’s best-performing wind
farms and this expansion will significantly increase the amount of renewable energy it can
generate for homes and businesses in the South West Interconnected System (SWIS),” he
said.

“We are proud to be investing in infrastructure that supports the Western Australia’s energy
transition, creates jobs and delivers long-term benefits for regional communities.”

The new wind turbines were built among the existing 51 turbines, bringing the total number of
wind turbines to 81.

The expansion supported more than 120 jobs at the peak of construction.

Potentia Energy CEO Werther Esposito said this was an important achievement for the
Australian energy sector.

“This is a milestone not just for Western Australia, but for the entire nation’s transition toward
reaching our clean energy potential,” Mr Espositio said.

“Warradarge Wind Farm already sets the benchmark for what can be achieved in project
design and management.

“Potentia Energy is proud of what has been achieved here with Synergy, our joint-venture
partner, and we are excited for the future.”

When complete, Warradarge Wind Farm will deliver a combined generation capacity of 283
megawatts, making it the biggest wind farm in Western Australia.

Warradarge Wind Farm is owned by BEI, which is a joint venture between Potentia Energy
and the State Government through Synergy.
